This does not change processing time, it only changes shipment time. Payment goes directly to the USPS. Cut off time for same business day shipment of an expedited order is 2 pm EST (11 am PST).
Priority mail is faster, insured, and generally more reliable. International shipment is especially faster when shipped with priority mail rather than first class.
